Looks like I have a lot to learn about Oestrogen.... Never heard of it before but given the 'thickness' of my mid section I need all the help I can get to rid my body of this excess. Green smoothies to the rescue….
Deciding it was up to me to take some action I saw the 5 day online challenge, and although I am someone that juices, I have found Julie's information very helpful in explaining the why's of all of this and decided I had nothing to loose and just had to join the challenge.
This morning for the first time in weeks I feel like my old self, clear headed, have energy and importantly I have my enthusiasm back.
Will be doing it again for sure, two nights in a row now I have slept through the night. Even had two smoothies the other day, one for breakfast and one for dinner as I had heaps of greens left, I love them!
Shared the challenge with the PT at work. She said her leg cramps at night disappeared. I liked the smoothies and will continue.
I'm feeling so much better than I was after 4 days into the challenge. I've noticed that I'm sleeping better and have more energy during the day. In mid afternoon when I used to feel drowsy, I'm alert and energetic. Another advantage is that for years I've suffered with foot cramping and sometimes leg cramps in the middle of the night, but not since I started this 5 day program. I'm hoping this is another advantage. My craving for sweets and salt seemed to have disappeared. I may just continue this program after the 5 days. Love it. Thank you Julie.
